Classroom Assessment vs High-Stake Examination

  

This Websharing introduces key considerations in the assessment of student learning and achievement in school science. It traces shifts in classroom and national examination practices in Singapore, shaped by evolving societal and industry needs. The session examines how these changes impact assessment administration, expectations for authentic performance, and the role of assessment in preparing students for the future of work. Participants will gain insights into the core purposes of science assessment, its influence on student motivation, and emerging stakeholder expectations.


Tentative Date of the Websharing will be on the first week of June 2025. Registration will begin from 1 May 2025.
